Good evening Belgian embassy Uganda, first foremost thank you so much for your enormously great support to especially Africa and particularly Uganda,May the almighty father in heaven/Allah grant you more wisdom and bless the work of your hands. Am Apangu Stephen 21 years old an enrolled nursing student school drop out from Koboko district northern Uganda inquiring about any round of scholarship for this year 2014-2015 in the nursing department since I narrowly missed last year's programme.
However, am born to a poor socio-economic parents that is to say the mum is disabled and the father is a peasant. Besides I entirely struggled on my own during my ordinary level studies.
Currently, our district has only a health center IV as its main health facility with lack of highly skilled registered health practitioners hence some departments are at times unattended to just because they either lack specialists or being attended to by one person which is tiresome leading to poor delivery of health services. Although I managed to volunteer in the facility after my nurse assistant training, I feel like to upgrade with the hope in future become a volunteer nurse-doctor but currently I secured the admission form for enrolled nursing from a University for this year May intake yet without any financial support to commence my studies for the good of my/our people and the next generation to come.Its now my humble request that my you please help me out.God bless you and your work for the good of the people of this world.
