I wanna know if the Belgian embassy can issue a visa to me in Sierra Leone!!
I am a Belgian Citizen; I went through the legal prosedure, with all document in place for my mom to visit my wife and kids in Beljun; My younger brother who resides in Freetown visited all they offices to know were to deposit the document no one can help, he forther went to Guinea Conakry to see there Consolate and no one can help him too not even the consolate, what a shame to the Belgian gorvernment; And now all my time to get this document become useless;
I cannot see the rational of having a belgian embassy in sierra leone if the host country will have to travel to another country to obtain a visa to travel Belgium.I don't see any reason why a belgian consulate should not reside in freetown but operate in other areas of diplomacy.Can you please re-think on what ever made you to make that decision and reverse your action.
I have been trying to get a schengen visa for my 1year old and am sorry to report that this consulate is absolutely useless I do not see the point in any European consul bein here because they just tell u to go to their embassy in another African country.they do not help nor advise on how to go about it. I have a British passport but my daughter a Sierra Leonean,a trip through Europe has now turned into a nightmare of forms Applications and calling and visiting all embassies here,I understand they want to keep numbers of people out of there countries but the processes we have to go through are flipping insane ..I wish I had my daughter in England cos this is crap!!!!!!!!!
