I applied to Belgium embassy in lagos on 2/02/2015 till now my application is not ready for collection at the VFS centre and it has exceeded 15 working days. pls sir, i will like to know the reason for this delay.

Dear Sir/Ma,
Am an EU/EAA member state ,and l have moved to belgium to exercise my civil right by living and working there a year ago.
l apply for family reunion since 5 months ago, but to my surprise there is no update, no informations, no text message or email to inform my family of the progress on the application.
However, my children have stop going to school and we have also give out all properties, believing that by now, they will have join me in belgium.
Moreover, since the 5 months have been paying and living alone in four bedrooms apartment, which is affecting me mentally, morally and physically.
Some others that apply for same in other embassy have received response within 3 monthts ,even some witnin one month of applications.
I will appreciate if they can try to speed up their process.
