Dear Sir,
We are the "Rainbow Trading House", reputed importer and supplier all over Bangladesh. Address: No.33 Topkhana Road, Meheba Plaza 11th floor. Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh.
We are to inform you that we issued a LC on the date 29th December, 2016, in favour of Chinese Company called Topbing International Industrial Limited. Address: No.88, Luyang Road, Donshang Industrial Area, Jieyang City, Gaungdong, China.
2x20ft full containers of Stainless Steel circle as per our mutual agreement. The company issued Proforma invoice and we opened LC on that Proforma invoice basis. Accordingly they had shipped the goods to us; however, we found some very bad quality goods in the containers which were not agreed upon. As compensation we claimed an amount of $4000 from the Chinese company.
The supplier from that company proposed to give $2000 as compensation claiming they would settle the matter from the next shipment. But we don’t accept their proposal as we do not want to continue doing business with them anymore. We need our $4000 back.
In this source of matter we contacted the Chinese embassy in Dhaka they advised us to contact with Bangladesh embassy in China for better settlement of this issue.
Please think over the topic appropriately and take the legal steps necessary, so that we can get our $4000 back from the supplier mentioned above.
