Your call centre said that I need a letter from the embassy that allows that I can have the visa within one week as we depart next weekend.

I've heard that first first time travellers from SA to Austria MUST apply for Schengen Visa in Pretoria.Is that true ? I am really worried ,because my sister comes from Patensie outside a farm by Humansdorp and she cannot aford to travel to Pretoria. i will appreciate if somebody can give me exact info.
I will be touring with German musicians. I will be leaving cape town and arriving in berlin then vienna and switzerland. The trip will last one month. Do I need a work visa? We'll be in austria only 2 or 3 days. What visa do I need, please send me the visa requirements, the fee and where I need to obtain it. Please Help - Much Appreciated.
