I was robbed in H.M. Vienna
I was attending an academic conference in Vienna from the 16th to the 22nd of April, 2016. On the 21 while shopping in downtown H.M. near the grand Cathedral,I had just seen my purse and the second moment it wasn't there. The woman receiving the money wasn't helpful at all and denied that there were any cameras in that big shopping centers. I went to the police station near Lenas hotel where I lived they, too, were unfriendly and said they didn't make reports unless I had a lawyer!!!!??? However I made a report the following day in the airport police station. When I came back many friends told me it has become the norm to be robbed in downtown H.M. especially for veiled women and that they suspect that the workers are involved because when you go to pay they keep talking to you for too long and that was exactly what happened with me while I was paying. I was/am still shocked and disappointed.Nobody tried to help or do his/her job. Nobody ever contacted me. I lost 2000 Euros and 750 Dollars and nobody ever tried to help or contact me to tell me if anything was being done. Just in case,my contact information:

Application Issuing Schengen Visa -
Austria Embassy - Consulate department Visa section
Dear consular Austrian Embassy Cairo Egypt

My name is Laila Hussein and on April 17 2014, I visited the Austrian consulate in Cairo based on an appointment sent to me by E –mail , where

I completed an application for Schengen visa to Austria. I attached with the application form all required documents.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the International symposium organized by the Internation Agency of Atomic energy in Vienna between the 26 – 29th of May.
I would like to mention that between the years 2010 – 2012, I visited three European countries on three different occasions and the Schengen visa was issued to me on November 2010 from the Italian consulate and on July 2012 at from the FRench consulate - Giza at quite reasonable time.
I am quite worie because of the delay in issuing the Schengen Visa. With this message, I am requesting to inform me, if there is any problem concerning the pass-port processing , sothat I can do my best to solve any
Problem. I tried to phone the consulate under 3570 2975 during the assigned period between 14 – 15 pm but the line is busy all the time. I also sent an

E –mail using using the E – mail address Kairo-ob@bmeia.gv.at , but unfortunately I didn't receive any response.
I am requesting your full consideration to my request, since we are running short in time .

Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Best regards
