Passport application I need to renew my passport, I have been living in the USA for the last few years and need to know if I am required to show up in person to renew my passport. The nearest consulate is over 8 hrs driving, so would need 3 days to do this if that is the case.

Visa & phone number I was trying to get my visa to visit Australia online, but kept getting denied. I am a green card holder in the US with a European passport. Where can I go online to apply for a visa?
Also I tried to call the Australian Consulate in Tukwila, but the phone number took me to Toys R Us! What's up with that?

Evisa Last night I tried to get an evisa to Australia as my mother is dying and I need to be there. I was denied and was told to contact the Australian consulate. About 10 months ago I went to Sydney for my mother's sister's funeral and I had no problem getting a visa, although I had to pay for it. I thought I'd try the evisa because it was free. I made some errors and they told me becaue of that I was rejected. I am distraught and not thinking clearly. Please help.

i have been trying to phone the number that is listed in Seattle but is not an active number for a Consul it is a TOY STORE.I need information on why the Commonwealth Bank in Australia says that these Notary Publics are not acceptible.
I am trying to have my Brother get my late Mothers estate settled and they keep sending me back forms to have certified that what our Notaries do.I need an answer now.

Long term stay for Brit retirees. Can a retired British and American married couple get a visa to legally enter and stay in Australlia permanently, we are financially secure and able to sustain ourself as well as getting a private medical insurance policy.
