My partner has been in Australia since the age of 16 he's 30 now. While here in Australia he did some jail time and had a dui while on parol. While he was in jail for the dui immigration had sent him back to Chile without notice his family is all here in Australia. We were planning on getting engaged after he got out of prison as we were not expecting him to be deported. Can we still get engaged/married? Will he be able to come back to Australia? I'm at a absolute loss we have been together for a year and I just want him home.

I have a friend from columbia who is working in Chile.
She has a visa definitive no soy chilena.
She is a qualified dentist in Columbia and wishes to become an orthodontist.
Can she apply to come to australia on a skilled migrant visa as a dentist? Will we recognise her qualifications here? Can she apply to study here to further her profession and become an orthodontist?
