I would just like to say that we had intended to visit South Africa but after following this shocking case there is no way I would feel safe as a tourist in your country.
It is abundantly clear that women are not respected in South Africa. This young woman was unarmed and defenceless and brutally murdered with accuracy through a locked door. The story of this man is quite simply ridiculous and has no credibility and yet the courts allow him bail and then relax the conditions.
This country is in a shambles. It shows a poor example to killers and I would not feel safe as a tourist in this country.
Quite frankly, it disgraceful and I thank God that in Australia we show respect to women who are brutally murdered, like Jillian Meagher, who was raped and murdered and where is this killer - behind bars where he belongs.
If Oscar Pistorius was in Australia, he would be in the cell next door!

I have a very dear friend of mine from The Gambia who has applied 3 times for an australian holiday visa and is continuesly refused due to the fact that they say he will not return home , the poor man is going to be married on his return and my brother will personally escort him home and yet he is still refused , can you please outline for me what it is that this man must do to obtain a visa .

I'm Marius Mesape Metuge.I'm a Cameroonian,married to an Australian citizen.it had been more than 34 days that i did apply for a tourist visa via Abuja Nigeria Ref No-ABUJ/100912/0001 but up till date i have not been updated about my visa situation.i had made random calls on daily basis still nothing had yield fruit just endings at the secretariats.my wife had made same calls without avail.she was only informed by some one who could not even understand English Language well by telling her my documents are not there.she was then terrified but we had to refer to Abuja again when we where being told my documents are in South Africa.this is heart breaking as we had been left in a dillema,coupled with rescheduling of flight for three times.we Cameroonians face a lot of problems applying for Australia visa here in Cameroon.this like heart break to my lovely wife and my self.
Please,i wish to know the state of my visa as i had written many mails but none had been replied.writing in public like this is part of exposing my privacy.my email read as macnightjones@yahoo.com.will be glad to read from you as soon as possible.

I'm a cameroonian.it's very difficult for Cameroonian to have visa to Australia even after meeting up with all requirement.seems the Australian people or the high commission does not like Cameroonians to travel to their countries.please may you give any reason?even after taking us a lot to apply for the visa being that there is no embassy here.Cameroonian deposited documents via Nigeria.no information is ever sent.i had this experience since 2010 and many had complain.does it mean that our documents does not reach you?because we do pay for visa fee and other charges in Nigeria.

Im very concerned how Australian companies run their Business. Ihave been embarrased by Thunderlegs Promotion Autralia world wide and destroy my goodreputation.Idid own any one MoneyIdid not signe any document with SinaworldTravell and Thunderlegs promotion was dishonest to me if you reaserch to Sinaworld Travell and ask them did they receaved any ivitation for me from Thunderlegs Promotion and Before they bought me a plane Ticket they seacrh avisa and did nt find it but on 22 March2012 they phone me and told me to pack my Bags ang go to airport. Istill have text massages from Thunderlegs promotion on that day.Two or More companies are involved in destroying my brand name which It took me 17yrs to take world class ihave investment on career.Ineed compansation for my damages which is $2m US Dollars.Iwant to know from Sinaworld Travell that iT takes 3months to be refunded plane iticket as they ignore my emails and does that ticket still have money where it went to ineed to know .
