can any body find out if this carnival cruise employers and so called Australian immigration is real they asked me to pay an amount of 185dollars for an Australian foreign union certicate through their southafrica branch but am smelling a rat. i Google the managers name but nothing show he works with cruise company ...can anybody tell me if this is true?

I've sent my cv and they respond so fast everything has processed except AUFC fee which is USD175. I requested my employer to loan me the money bt they refused. They told me to raise that money because that certificate give access to work anywhere at australia. I am delaying the payment I want to know the end of this because I suppose to start working on the 4th October 2012.
im lebanese and my grand-parents had the australian nationality. Is it possible that they endorse is to us??

I believe these P&O cruise ship recruiters are scamers. I applied for my sister and everything seemed to be going in a way that was too good to be true. They were super quick in their response and never queried when I delayed responding as they had frwarded me her letter of engagement as she was supposed to start from 1/12/2011. They never wueried anything when we delayed and the immigration agents told us to send copy of passport and invitation letter to an office of African Union in Conakry, Guinea so that they can process my AU Foreign Workers Certificate. I did so on Friday 11/11/11. On the 12th they responded saying the process is completed I can collect the certificate by sending $d 185 by moneygram to Mrs Anne Gilbert,AU Offices , Conakry, Guinea. What amazed is their super efficiency seemingly with no beauracracy whatso ever. I smelled a rat and decided to google the existence of the AU Foreign Workers Certificate with no success. Even their communication is full of mistake in their English but the main suspicion is they are too good to be through preying on desperate unemployed people. I even googled Guinea as a country, it looks like they dont have an established African Union Office in Conakry.The so called P& O recruiters seem to be working very closely with the immigration agents who issues visa, which I suspect are the same people. I believe once you pay they dissapear.
Look at P&O cruiseline fax number sibusiso & Look at your contract, they took the fax number of P&O and made it a telephone number.
