Dear sirs: I plan to be inNuequen dec19-29th. I’m an apple grower and member of the American pomological society and NAFEX , a group of dedicated growers. My interest is to promote the growing of “Heirloom” apples . I am not in business , but retired. I am interested in promoting the use of new Geneva series rootstocks to produce quality fruit with less spraying required. Heirloom apples represent genetic diversity lost in industrial apple culture. More diversity means healthier crops. I need introductions to growers. I want to serve as a conduit of information. New Zealand, Australia, Chile ,wanatchee Washington state all produce the same varieties.Theres a market for heirlooms here in US.
