Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Fjoralba Miraka. I am sending this e-mail because i need some information concerning the application of residence permit in Sweden.
My citizenship is Albanian, i have been living in Greece since 1996, 15 years now, and i have been a university student there the last 4 and a half years at the
Department of English Language and Literature of Aristotle University. I was nominated to join the ERASMUS program, and accepted by Uppsala University, to study here for one semester.
I have been in Sweden since January 16. When i visited the Migration Office in order to apply for a residence permit i was told that i am not allowed to make such
an application because my citizenship is of a non-European country, despite the fact that i have been living and studying in Greece for so many years and despite the
fact that i am here due to University Agrreement. I am not sure what is required for the time being on my behalf, thus, i would appreciate some information from your Embassy
and i would be much grateful if you let me know whether there is something that i can do now and fix this mess.
