When you open a tourist visa, ministry will give one Number, which you need to provide to your friend, then he/she will go to Uzbekistan Embassy and get his/her passport stamped.
Note: when you open a tourist visa, ministry will ask you, where your friend will apply, then they put the embassy name and send fax to that embassy. Only that embassy can issue visa.
Hello. Does anyone have information how to renew the expired passport from uzbekistan embassy in dubai? We have been told that the new system is being applied for this matter.

Hi,
I ve been kicked of of German consulate without getting Shengen visa. they told me that my uzbek passport is a wrong passport to get Shengen visa, that there is another passport to travell to Shengen zone. Inspite of telling them that regular people of Uzbekistan have now only this one and use it as well for travell purpose. I know there is biometric passport to be issued soon but its untill 2015!!! Please help me with info!!!

If you are in GCC(you can get visa to Uzbekistan from KSA,Kuwait,UAE), Bahrain and Qatar does not have embassy, Kuwait embassy is handling their issues.
Once visa is applied from Ministry of Interior in Uzbekistan, even tourist visa, location for obtaining visa is asked, and once you mentioned, you must go to that embassy, other embassies will reject the visa. Hope it helps.

You can follow this link to fill up the application online and then print and take it to embassy. I did this and got the visa.
