I am an American citizen living in California. I married an Italian citizen from Trezzano Sul Naviglio while on vavacation in my hometown in California. We have a marriage license through Placer County Records and have not divorced. We have since separated. He lives between Milan and Sweden with his now I believe to be wife and 2 year old child with the woman. She is Swedish and holds that citizenship. I am wondering what is within my rights to do about this. Is it legal for him to marry someone in another country while he is still legally married to me? Please give me information on how I can find out if he is in fact married to this woman and how I can get at least a copy of the marriage certificate.
