The way they were treated, more precisely the way they were mistreated. One of the prisoners who has done 27 years already with no end in site, for a minor crime says it so. How deep and true then and even more so today.

The BLOWBACK will stop only if you ever join the civilized world, you are trying to reshape into something to suit you and your way of life. That is **&^ scary stuff. Luckily there are those who can and will stop you once you make that fatal mistake of attacking them. THEY CAN FIGHT BACK, unlike Panama, Granada and all others you attacked in your quest for world hegenomy that ain't going to happen.

The message here is clear, America must stop its march toward total hegemony of the world, for once they even try to enter the bears taiga, it'll be over for them and all of us. Thus American population will do well to get informed about what is waiting for them if their govt continues on this course of violence spreading around the world.
Will corporate media do their job and educate their people or will they march along their govt into insanity of mistake of attacking someone who can fight back.
That is a question of not only your survival but of all of us.

OR HYPOCRISY????
Remember IRAQ and WMDs? There was no danger there at all. IRAQ was not involved in 9/11 at all, had no WMDs and represented no danger to anyone, but its own people. How many countries like this we have right now in the world and they are supported and protected by USA? Too many to remember. They will continue with tyranny and terror over their people. This, they will be allowed till or if they get any ideas of going their way, as independent of their current masters and supporters. That what happened to Iraq, for it became "too independent" and that is when they got "looked after" with outcome you know and see daily.
ISIS, on the other hand is an absolute danger to everyone, to local and wider population and territories. Yet the biggest and the best military EVER does nothing but bombs them from 10Km hight. A bandaid on massive wound, that can only be closed by massive intervention.
Yes, folks this is both irony and hypocrisy at the same time.
At least follow the advise given earlier and DO SOMETHING USEFUL. After all you'd be only cleaning the mess you made in the first place.

..he (and many others) was trained and ordered to lie and otherwise demonize Russia, by his govt that followed your govt's orders (as they did to impose sanctions on Russia, against their will and common sense) with ultimate goal of causing the WWIII. Now if he is lying about this then there is something wrong with him. But looks he is telling the truth. So people of Euro, USA, Canada and all peace loving people better wake up before it is too late. The insane USA politics will lead to this conflit, that will end the life on earth as we know it. Perhaps in their insane minds, they think they will survive and "own" everything that is left after "new clear" energy is used,as Sarah Palen would ut it. Scary stuff.

Destruction of Syria and Iraq is the goal
Someone in the west (you know who) is determined to destroy Syria and with it Iraq the way they are. How then you can explain that Iraq, Kurds and others who are against ISIS have at lease 600.000 sldiers under arms, while ISIS has no more than 31.000. Yet they are winning with no risitance to speak of. Bombardment by "the best military in history" does not stop them at all, even in a country flat as glass and vegatation free as the same glass.You can see the men moving as if you are watching them on the streets of NYC, from the top floors of their buildings. Yet the best airforce can not see them and bomb them. What do they bomb? Schools, hospitals, radio stations... as they did in Serbia? Shame on you, you are the biggest cowards ever. Bobmbing innocense from 10Km up there. God help you if you ever attack someone who can fight back. Remeber Vietnam?
The point made about ordering/making Iraqi soldiers fight or be killed by their own if they STEP BACK in the face of enemy, is the ONLY SOLUTION. This if those who claim they are there to eleiminate ISIS, really mean it. Otherwise they are admitting the goal is to destroy these two countries with cheap solution, letting ISIS do it. They have to prove they are innocent, for in anyone's who thinks book, they are guilty of this crime.
Moral of this story for Europeans and any other country counting on America's protection: Don't count on it.

HOW TO DEFEAT ISIS WITH LOCAL FORCES
This is a serious advice you can use or ignore to your peril. It has to do with the fact that Iraqi military you spent billions to train and equip, are simply too frightened to fight the enemy. This was shown at the begining of ISIS expansion and is still the fact on the ground. They could fight if they free themselves of that fright which is equal to cowardice. They must be "motivated" and the best way to do it is the way Stalin and his Stavka "motivated" their troops/soldiers to fight the nazis at the approaches of Moscow.
It is the historic fact that Soviet soldiers were running away from advancing fascist hordes, even though they had numbers and equipment to fight the invaders. What they did not have motivation and guts. Just like Iraqi army. Then somoene came up with the idea how to reverse this. It was very simple: NOT A STEP BACK.
The soldiers were told in no uncertain terms that if they step back in the face of the enemy, without fighting to death if necessary, they would be killed by their own, PERIOD. This was justified by the very fact that their own country was in such peril, that running away from the fight to save the Mother Russia was simply not an option. You run you die for sure, you fight you may survive or may die, there is no other option.
It worked and saved not only Mother Russia but Europe and possibly the world from the nazis. Those who really know history of WWII know that this is true and that the order: NOT A STEP BACK made that much of difference.
Today we have similar situation in Iraq where they have more than enough soldiers and equipment to destroy ISIS but they have no guts to do it. NOT A STEP BACK order is called for and would work. Once they regain their confidence and guts, they will be happy the order was given. That way they would save their country and the world from the danger of ISIS. After all Obama said it was their responsibility to do it. So whay not do it the only way possible, by simple order :NOT A STEP BACK.
No other way they would stand up for themselves and do the right thing. So after you read this, call USA millitary and give them this advice. Do not make a mistake of ignoring it because it was done by Russians. Only millitary that is based on democracy does not need such harsh orders, but then such military can never fight as those who are given such orders. In this case it is not only necessary but an absolute MUST If not given, it'll be the ground forces of USA and others that wuld have to go in and lose lot of blood and tresure for those who did not want to fight their fight. Is this fair?
