+1 is the country code for USA, 518 is the area code, 2998369 is the phone number. If you are calling USA from overseas, you have to dial +15182998369. Same thing this number will appear on your phone if the caller is using this number to contact you if you are not holding a USA number.
Without the plus sign, 15182998369 is a china handphone number. You will need to dial +8615182998369 from overseas to china.
If you dial 1(518)2998369, most likely it will be an error.

Larry is Lance's accomplice. Lance really knows how to sweet talk, please don't be taken in by him. He got to know my friend through messenger, buys her trust, chat with her for almost 2 years and then said he wants to give her a surprise and asked for her address. My friend is a widow and he spoke that he wants to be with her. After which, he called to say that the parcel which was the gift with branded handbags and a huge sum of money was detained by the customs and asked her to pay a sum of money. My friend thought it was real. That's the start of the nightmare. After which he claimed that the item is with the embassy and needs my friend to pay some money to get the documents done for the parcel to be delivered to her. He told Larry to call. My friend borrowed money from many of her other friends, now she is in debt.

At first she refused to believe that it was a scam until her close friends counselled and talked to her, to help her see a bigger picture that lance and Larry are in the same syndicate out to con people.

Ladies out there, please beware. There's no free lunch out there. How can a stranger you meet online gives u money? Do not be in denial or you will be hurting your family members just like my friend.

How can this man lance be a good man when he has cheated the money of many women. My friend was one of those cheated by him. Sad to say, she borrowed money from
others and is still struggling to pay off. Her family got so upset and angry that they have all ignored her because she does not believe what her family members have advised her and continued to be in contact with this scammer despite being
cheated so much money by him. Ladies out there, beware, he is just trying to be pitiful and con some other gullible women again. Whatever stories he has told my friend had so many loopholes. It was through the help of many friends that this friend of mine finally woke up and realised she has indeed been scammed.
