Prince William birthday card
The Prince and I have the same Birthday date-june 21.
In 2014 I will be 82 and the Prince 32. For the past 2 years I have send the Prince a birthday card (UK officals to review prior to Prince receipt). I also request as return card :-). As of this date I have not received one. I still think that it would be nice public relations. My family, relatives and friends agree. Hopingto hear yourcomments as appripriate.

Contact Information
I sent away for my passport a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if there was a contact number with an actual human being where I can ask about the status of it. I feel I was wrong in sending to the Embassy in Washington and should have sent it to the UK instead, but I am unable to contact anyone at the embassy in which to ask about this.

Is there a live number with a live person? I feel bad, but I sent a rather heated e-mail yesterday expressing my concerns about this. I'm not in a rush to get my passport-I understand that takes time-but I'm concerned about the whereabouts of my important and not easily replaced documents. I'm also concerned that no money has been charged to my credit card yet. I felt as soon as the package was dropped off to your doorstep, that would be the first thing to happen.

Has anyone had luck getting in touch with the Embassy at all?

Waiting For Renewals
We submitted our sons' passports for renewal at the same time. One son received his new passport within 2 weeks...the other son has not heard a word and his passport (which we submitted) is due to expire in mid October. I cannot get anyone to assist.

What happens to US citizens when they visit the UK & their passport expires?
I have a close friend who is in the UK . HIs passport has expired & he tells me that he cannot leave the country without renewing it . What is the process & how much does it cost to renew? What happens to a US citizen in the UK when the passport expires?
