Have I located the correct building?
This is a slightly odd query, but I hope someone can help.
My father (English) was stationed during the Second World War at..
British Legation,
82 Strandvagen
Stockholm.
He was there for two years training people in communications. Is this an old address for this building or can any one tell me if this address still exists. Thanks.

Renewing passport at the embassy
I think it's such a shame that British citizens who are living in Sweden are no longer able to renew a British passport at the British embassy in Stockholm. Now I have to send my passport to Britain and pay £147 for the privilege. An ordinary British passport costs £74 so why double the price? I understand I must pay almost £20 for a courier service but that brings it to £94 so why the extra money for a 32 page passport.
