Hi there,
My partner and I are trying to get him a visa to stay in Brazil based on a stable relationship (I am Brazilian.
The British Consulate/Embassy so far haven't done anything to support our process or to support him!(He is British).
All we need to continue with the application is a simple declaration from the Consul or from the Embassy/Consulate saying that his British documents are original and genuine.
As the British authority in Brazil, they should be able to do it, to help a British citizen. So far, they have refused to do anything to help us! They can't write declarations, they can't emit passports, they can't legalize documents, they can't do nothing! What do they do here then?
I would like to know how to get my British Passport and which documents will be needed, apart from the cost. I am a British citizen and live in São Paulo.
Sincerely yours,
Jennifer Duncan
