QQuestion re: income requirents when obtaining Spouse's Visa
I would like to know if my Social Security and a small pension from working for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania can be counted in fulfilling the income requirement.

Neither my wife (British citizen) nor I fulfill the requirement alone. With my income and hers, we more than fulfill it.

Mailing creamated remains of US Naturalized person born in Glascow Scotland
My mother, a naturalize US citizen born in Glascow Scotland has recently passed. Her two sisters (a twin who was also a naturalized citizen and a younger sister who was a UK citizen), and favorite cousin's ashes were allowed to be spread over Troussachs National Park north of Glasgow. My Aunt (one who lived in Alaska for decades) ashes were allowed to be sipped from the US to UK for my third cousin to do the honors of spreading them over the park.

I'm told that now, or as of December 2013, the US Postal Service had some policy changes. I need to know what kind of authoization paperwork the UK needs, so that I can ship my mother's ashes I'm looking for information and help in this matter. I'm just trying to fulfill a person's wishes.

British Citizenship for my Daughter
I am a British citizen, but have been living in Phoenix for the past 18 years as a Permanent Resident. My daughter was born in Phoenix in April of this year, and I would like for her to get British citizenship.

I began filling out this form http://goo.gl/AJEODc but it seems that it only applies to parents who are British by descent, and are wanting to get British citizenship for their child. I am not a British citizen by descent, but rather by birth, so is there a different form that I should be filling out?

Application for UK Citizenship
Hi,

I am a US citizen whose mother is a UK citizen. I was born in the US in Phoenix. I can apply for citizenship per this: http://bit.ly/1uBx1iu

On pg. 4 of the "Full Guide" on the page linked above it says:

.
You will meet the third requirement if
(i) your mother was, at the time of your birth, a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by birth, legal adoption, naturalisation or registration* in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man; or

At which point it goes on to list other possibilities. I would like to know if the above statement requires that my mother had been *living* in the UK at the time of my birth. She was a UK citizen at the time of my birth, but the portion of the statement that says "in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man" seems to indicate that she had to have been living there. Please advise.

dual nationality
I was born in Cambridge England in 1957. As far as I can tell I am a dual nationality. I would like to know if I can enter and exit the UK on a US passport or if I will need a UK passport too.
