My family and I are hoping to move to Lower Normandy later this year - mainly due to the wonderful properties that can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
Our problem is Education - this move was not planned and as such the children have not been taught Frence in advance.
Are there any schools in the areas of Caen, Manche, Orne, Domfront (or near) that would be able to accommodate English speaking children ages 9/10/16 years ?

doing work on my family tree and have found out mr GREAT GREAT grandfather is French and from Nantes his name was Jean Eteinein Chantrelle I believe that hes was a ship owner possibly in the slave trade although i am unsure any dates of births or deaths perhaps details on the extended family or information on Eugien
