Notes | YOUR ONLINE FRIEND WAS NOT ARRESTED AT THE AIRPORT. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED. Have you been having conversations online with someone you've never met before who claims to live in the UK? Has he told you that he will come to visit you in Malaysia? And now is he frantically contacting you because he are being held at the airport, and needs you to pay a fine so he can be freed? It is a scam. There is no romance, and there is nobody being detained at KLIA. The same person who was chatting online with you was also chatting online with many other victims. They are trying to trick you into sending money to an accomplice. Once you have sent the money they will disappear forever. Every year these scammers bilk unsuspecting victims out of thousands of ringgit. Don't be one of them. |

Why does the malaysian government detain people for overstay and try and extract money out of them. I thought if someone overstays you deport them back to their countries. My friend Mr Jerry Moore is being detained in Sabah and they have refused to cooperate with us until we send money to them which i think is unfair. Take him to court and the courts decide.... I am desperate to get my friend home please help...

He sends you a message via facebook. He uses the exact same words everytime (Anna) above was also contacted by him. This is the message via FB: I was touched by your profile picture,You look simple and elegant and i must confess,You are a pretty lady,I had to summon the courage to write you,I am a widower and i have a daughter(8 years old) living with me,I would like to know more about the pretty and charming lady. He then asks for your chat id. Don't give it to him. He sends photographs (you assume it is him) of himself and his (so called daughter/daughters. He says he owns his own business (involving tractors - he is the middle man). He will send you messages and poetry (involving flowers). He will tell you his mother is English and died of cancer 15 years and his father is Mexican. He also tells you that his wife died 6 years ago. Be aware he is very believable. If you are not sure of this man, look on google and see what comes up. I looked him up and found out that he advertises himself as being Polish, has two daughters, is in the furniture business etc. He freely advertises himself on google/facebook and dating sites.
Thank goodness I found out early. There is a reason for his lies. I was just too smart to figure him out before he caught me in his web.
Be aware ladies.
I have just had this same horrible experience with the same guy you all seem to have met online, A naive one i was, i sent the money just this may 27, 2013 the sum of 548 malaysian ringgit, just to receive a mail and a call from him accusing me of being LIAR, no one in my entire life had done such damage in front of my face. After complying with his request, this is all i would get in return. I just hope the authorities could nail him and get him behind bars till he took his last breath. No one in this world shall be left prying, scouting for individuals to lure and took their hard earned money. Please all ladies out there stay away from this online dating, chat and any internet dating cite because you are just putting yourself into a big trouble. Let us all protect ourselves from the numerous scammers be always cautious.
Anyone who knows Garrick David, who used to claim he was a marine engineer, now he had changed his profile as contract engineer,he is not in uk...he is in malaysia....He is also kelly Chris...etc. He had many victims i guess...how can we stop these scammers? they live like parasites, vultures, feeding on other peoples' hard earned money and vulnerability...i never saw him in cam...
