Mki, heartless Kuri and Sam
Mki: I have been waiting for a year, submitted application in April 2013

Heartless Kuri: jazak'Allah sis for your duas and support

Sam: sis I see your concern but it's not the worst decision as I don't believe when I married a Pakistani I signed an agreement that said the choice of country will be the UK. I have not been forced in to this decision at all and it's not that my husband does no work in Pakistan, he is an established lawyer in Pakistan and he can give me the lifestyle I have in the UK and I am looking to support him in his business so it won't be the typical Pakisrani thing. I totally understand your concern and fully appreciate your opinion but I have made up my mind and I rather be with my husband then to live in the UK alone.

All
First of all jazak'Allah for your duas, inshallah whatever Allah swt has planned for us will happen.

I know it's a big decision but if my husband can sacrifice everything and come to UK to live with me so why can I not make that sacrifice for our marriage. I married him to live with him and to complete my deen and all of this is incomplete for both of us as we are not together.

I have a meeting with Teresa May regarding my husbands application, this meeting has tiki months for her to agree to meet.

It shouldn't effect our application as the rule implies that we must be earning £18,600 per annum and I earn that in less than 6 months so inshallah that should not be a problem as I will be taking a 6 months break not leaving as I am looking to visit the UK every 4-6months so still will be on the payroll paying NI contributions and tax on the shares I hold in the company.

For me it's important to be with my husband so it don't matter what country it is, if I married a British citizen I would have moved to his house and would not have expected him to come and live with me so why should it be any different now.

I will still be here for a few months, packing up takes time especially if you have your hands in 10 different projects like me lol

Remember us in your duas
