Visa for UK
Hi.. I am student, studying in Germany. Iam basically from India and hold a schengen visa. I would like to visit my sister in UK this september. How do I apply for Visa? What are the documents that I must have? How long would it take for me to get the visa?

Passport - what now?
Too late, I've just noticed that my Passport ran out last month! I don't have a credit card, and have no Relatives in UK - what now? Been here since 1971, perhaps it would easier to take up German citizenship!!

Passport renewal from Germany / credit card
I live in Germany and have just renewed my British passport. It was amazingly quick and relativly simple. So thank you for that.

However, I have family members in Germany who also need new passports, but they have no credit card. Surely it must be clear to the IPS that not everyone has a credit card, wants a credit card and some people are simply unable to obtain one for whatever reason. How on earth are they expected to apply for a new passport? I can't give everyone my cc details, family or not!

This is really poor service.

Renewing passport
I think it's a disgrace that it has been made so difficult, for British people living here in Germany, to renew their passports. The cost is also unjustified. I agree with Tony.....why can't they just update the old one. I have read so many negative reports here regarding renewing a passport I wonder if anyone from the British Consulate-General reads them and if so, will they take them to heart.

ID
I Think it is about time that Identity cards would be allowed for british citizens living in europe. It would be alot cheaper. As a passport is not nessacery to travel in Europe.

Big Disappointment
Could you imagine after Travelling 2.30 Hrs with 2 children at Ages 7 and 11 years to be Turn down for Lateness of 20 mins caused by High Traffic condition..The Kids also have loose their Class lesson and all for nothing...What an arrogant and Heartless Regulation From the Worldbrige and British Visa Authorities is that.. Even dough their own Online System is not Perfect!!! Really a Money Making and an Unfair Agency.. Only bullshit on the cost of Visa Applicants! This most stop!!!
