O have so far not received a reply to my inquiry of 10th Oct.2017. where I have offered to send a copy of a speech made by Sir Hue Clifford, Governor of Ceylon in 1927. It would appear the British Embassy in Sri Lanka is not interested. Even so, it is common courtesy to reply. Time was when this country was ruled by Britishers, prompt action was their rule
Hope this will catch the eye of the High Commissioner personally.

I have a 17 paged document of a speech made by Sir Hue Clifford made at the 2nd Annual Agricultural Conference on 11th March 1927. From what I've experienced, I wouldn't advise you to do any upfront payments regarding vacancies & travel costs. However I would advise you to check with your local Embassy/Consulate.
Believe me you wouldn't want to loose your money
I also received a job offer from a person named Nelson Moonas,he needed a private tutor for his kid, made me pay for documentation that are supposedly from the UK home office, foolish of me to make money gram payments.Does anyone know which steps I should take to get my funds back?
I stay in Colombo. I want documents, photocopy of my passport and utility bill to be certified to be submitted to HSBC bank,UK.Pl let me know the telephone number and the physical address of a certifier.
