Driving foreign plates in Spain
Please could you confirm, that as non-residents holidaying in Spain, for periods longer than a month and driving our UK number plated car, that is fully legal with the correct documentation in the UK, are breaking the law and would have the car impounded and we will be issued with a fine?

Driving Laws
Hello
I wonder if you can help me. I travel to Spain by car twice a year once for 3 months and once for 2 and a half months mainly for health reasons I have copd arthritis reynauds syndrome I also have minor ailments. The copd and reynauds syndrome can be life threatening in extreme weather. I am not a resident and stay at my daughters villa. My car is fully legal ie taxed insured and MOT'd but now the police say that I must change my car to Spanish plates or travel home every month. What can I do about this ? I am nearly 70 years old and have now been here three weeks people tell me my car will be taken if I do not go now
Kind Regards
Carolyn

Health cover when Pregnant
My daughter is living in Spain with her boyfriend who has been living there for 10 years. She is now pregnant but has been told that her temporary zip card will not cover her for the birth. They have looked into getting married but have been told this cannot happen as she has not got residentcia or a contracted job. Can anyone give me any advice please?

getting married in Spain
I have been told by the local town hall that I will need an affidavit to get married. Can anyone please tell me what that means as I cant find anything about affidavits on the Consulate web page.
