If I have an invitation from my friend in Bangkok, providing a place to stay, is it mandatory to book and pay for a hotel in Bangkok, and secondly, how many days is the minimum required to book and pay for a hotel?

Hello, my name is Tatiane and Im from Brazil but Im studing in russia for 4 years alredy.My husband and I dicided to visit Thailand on the next winter hollydays,on january, and searching for informations about visa is clear that till period of 30 days there are no need for brazilians citizens however there is a note that all the Latine America and Africans citizens should get the yellow fever vacination receipt, than I would like to know how should we procede once that till where is know russia may be not provide it once that is not a tropical country.
