Violation of passport rules
This is to state that one company Thai Odyssey has given appointments to lot of Thai therapists for their spa in Kualalumpur and they violate the international policy of keeping the passport of the Thai therapists workers under their custody. Though the therapists have valid work permit they are not able to move out even on off days to purchase daily needs. several time the Malaysian police ask their passport and they are not able to show the passport and work permit as the same is under custody of Thai Odyssey. Some of my close friends are working for the company and they were caught by the police and had to pay some amount for their release.
As per the international passport lay any company or individual cant have the custody of any individuals passport for any reason.
I expect the Thai embassy/ the High commission to inter-vain in this matter and direct the company(Thai Odyssey)to give back the passport to the respective employees the haired.

Inquiry about change of visa from ED to Non-B by a holder of Nigerian passport residing in Thailand.
I am a Nigerian who came to Thailand to study for both Bachelor and master's degree. I have just got a teaching job after a successful completion of both Bachelor in English and International Business and masters in Diplomacy and International Studies and would like to change my visa from ED visa to Non-B to enable me work legally in the Kingdom. I have all the paper work from my employer and my school. When I contacted the Thai consulate in Penang, I was told I cannot apply for visa there and was referred to the embassy rather.
But since then all efforts to contact the consular section via phone has been abortive as no one has received my calls - a complete frustration indeed!.
I wonder if I could get this done in the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur as advised.
I really would be glad to hear from you to enable me make an informed decision on this issue.
Even a simple Yes/No answer would do rather than ignoring me.
