Comments on this Consulate
I am a permanent resident of US and have been living in the US for more than 15 years now. I am in Seattle area and would like to visit Switzerland as a tourist for a week or so in December.
Is this something that I can apply for visa at this consulate?
Please let me know
Thanks
Ritesh
For the front cover of a book of poems I intend to publish, I would like to have permission to use a copy of a painting by Paul Klee entitled "Battle Scene from the comic fantastic opera 'The Seafarer'". It is located in the Basel Offentiche Kunstakmmlung. I don't know how to contact this (I believe) museum. Thank you for any assistance.

My name is Tam, a Vietnamese citizen who lives in Seattle, WA, USA. I'm planning to visit several countries in Europe in August with Switzerland being the destination I will be staying the longest. I was wondering if I could obtain the Schengen Visa at the Swiss Consulate in Seattle?

I would like to look into attaining Swiss Citzenship, I can place my family back to Oberegg, Appenzell Switzerland in 1806. Oberegg is where my Great-great-great Grandfather and Grandmother were both born, Jakob Heinrich Bischoberger and M. Anna Sonderegger, both of them died in Oberegg. I know that both of them were born in 1806 and Jakob died in 1880 in Oberegg.
I also have in my posession the Immigration papers of one of their sons, Josef Anton Bishofberger, my Great-great Grandfather, entering the United States. Josef was born on October 30, 1835 in Oberegg, Appenzell, Switzerland.
I'm 52 years old today and always promised my Grandmother I would try to become a Swiss Citizen. I have always been proud of my Swiss (Suisse) heritage and it would mean so much to me to become a Suisse Citizen. Hope you can help me. Thank you, Steve Dorsey
