Your corporations that do business worldwide are supposed to be as noble, honest and civilized as your country is. Right? Wrong. Giving you a benefit of a doubt, we'll give you a short scenario about one Pharmaceutical company operating in Canada. This one is based In Basel and is one of the biggest in the world, having become so as result of merger of two companies from the same city.
This company has been doing illegal,criminal, unethican and immoral practices for decades everywhere they do business. As result they have benefited to the tune of billions of $$ in EXTRA profits from that part of their business practices that is illegal.
Yes they have been caught in many countries and fined in millions for their crimes, but they are way ahead for they never get caught everywhere they do this crime. For instnace in USA they have been fined over 1/2 billion dollars for same illegal practices they do in Canada, north of their border, yet there they have not been caught by the authority and fined for their abuse of this country's public health system. The only fine they paid was $10.000 to Rx&D, the selfregulating body of Big Pharma biz in Canada. In turn Rx&D has covered up their crime (as they do for all pharma cos that are as crooked as yours) thus no authority was notified and asked to do the right thing, prosecute the criminals.
You may not be aware of this but you are aware of Dr. D. Vassella's (former CEO of this Co) miscoduct in Switzerland, that was even condemned by your church autority as immoral and frankly disgusting.
In Canada, the authority would only act if there is evidence submmitted to them. There is very strong evidence on the illegal practices of your Co and very high possibility the evidence will be presented to proper auothority to act upon.
