EU Treaty Rights Query‏
ASA, My wife is a British national and she wishes to move to the Spain to exercise her EU Treaty Rights by living and working in the State. I am applying as the Non EU Spouse of an EEA Citizen to join her when she moves to the Spain to exercise her EU Treaty Rights on the basis of Directive 2004/38/EC which states that there is no legal requirement to submit Bank Statements, Pay slips, Letters from an Employer, Airline Tickets or Hotel Bookings. The Directive also states that the Visa should be issued free of charge as soon as possible and on the basis of an accelerated procedure.

Can you please guide me, do I have to make an appointment in the embassy or go to Gerry’s office?

What is processing time of the visa? The law says that the Visa should be issued free of charge as soon as possible and on the basis of an accelerated procedure?

Do I have to attach hotel reservations and ticket bookings as well?
