abusive treatment
I applied for a visa along with 40 other people to run the Barcelona marathon. I was rejected without an explanation although I fulfilled all the paperwork and had previously acquired a Shengen visa. I was not given any good reason and the clerks were offensive, impatient and incompetent. I am outraged at the amount of nerve racking bureaucracy an egyptian has to go through to get a visa although we welcome spanish people to come to our country all the time without any bother. They should be glad that I am going to participate in an important national event. I am also a single mum. ridiculous and unacceptable.

Spanish citizens in Cairo
To whom it may concern,

I currently have friends from Spain living in Cairo and am worried for their safety given the situation. I am looking for information on whether or not the Spanish embassy is advising it's citizens to leave and any further information you may have would be extremely helpful.

Many thanks,

Theresa C
