Obtaining Spanish Passport for 4 yr old daughter of Spanish Citizen born in Thailand
Does anyone please have any idea of how long it will take to obtain a Spanish Passport for my 4 yr old daughter who was born in Thailand to Thai mother and I am her father.I am a Spanish citizen.Unfortunately my partner ( ex ? ) does not want to care for our child anymore regardless that i pay for all their living expenses apart for a small amount she earns.
My daughters mother has already got rid of her Thai daughter from a previous marriage to a Thai man by abandoning the girl and just leaving her with an aunty and uncle who are retired.I support both children but am finding that my daughter is not getting looked after or given much love as her mother choses to socialise, gamble and to entertain Thai men.She keeps telling me to take my daughter away and for me to look after her.She seems to think it can just be done with a click of ones fingers. She doesnt accept that there are laws and rules than must be followed. When my daughter was a baby she was for a few yrs used as a tool for her mother to gain financial gain but now her mother just wants her out of her way so she doesnt have to have any responsability.I and my family want to take care of the unfortunate little girl and have the funds and time to give her a good life. Her mother says she will sign her onto me which sounds a little materialistic but i think i understand what the mother means.I am going to see her soon and will get legal and embassy advice but would be happy if anyone out there knows about this type of situation or case as for us who live in Spain and Australia its all very sad. Also the funds i send monthly i dont think are being used as they are supposed to be and the children are the ones suffering.Thank you.
