I am writing this application letter in response to your announcement made on Linkedin. I am confident that I satisfy all the required criteria GE-Ethiopia, Addis Ababa will set to recruit professionals for the aforementioned position.
I graduated with an LLB degree in Law from Bahir Dar University, and a Diploma in Police Science from Ethiopian Police College in 2009 and 2003 respectively. My high academic calibre is clearly testified in my academic records. I feel that these certificates will undoubtedly make me become competent in the kind of job you have announced recently. These qualifications, accompanied by the certificate I have on exposure training in the Security Department of Sheraton Kampala Hotel, will be of a paramount importance to my whole being and to the job.
My two decades’ stay in the job industry has been entirely filled in with multiple experiences in security related tasks. The vast experience I had was in the Ethiopian Police at various leadership positions ranging from district police officer to Zonal head of the Police. The lions’ share of these experiences was in law enforcement, investigative work and security management positions in Amhara Region, Ethiopia. My outstanding performances in the Police Force allowed me are awarded with one of the very few highest positions, the title of Commander of the Police.
Furthermore, I have six months experience as a higher crime investigator in the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission Bahir Dar branch. This experience gave me the opportunity to face the challenges of the workplace environment as my salient job tied to top investigative work and crime matters. As the skill of coordination demands a lot, I benefited countless skills as I was engaged in security and crime issues.
Currently I’m working in Blue Nile Resort Hotel P.L.C (Avanti Blue Nile Hotel an international Hotel, Tana Hotel, and Alwaq Hotel) Bahir Dar, Ethiopia as a Director of Security.
My excellent English Language Communication skills in oral and written English and Amharic together with my computational skills will be assets to myself and my professional duties in my future career. Given all these qualifications and experiential performances, I do not hesitate that South Sudan Embassy; Addis Ababa will recruit me as the right professional for vacant position.
