Uncertain bona fide visit
I don't understand why you submitted all the required documents and only going for a visit but they still take your money and tell you your visa rejected for uncertain bona fide visit. How do they come to the conclusion that your reason for visit is not honest... it's not like you can stay and refuse to leave when your visa expired. They should either train them on being morally judgemental and consider that someone really applied cause they need the visa. They should consider two sides of the application and try being on this other side of the applicant too

Incompetence
To whom it may concern, I would like to make a formal complaint about unfair treatment and sheer incompetence in your South Africa Visa Application Centre in Kenya.5th floor, Park Field Building, Muthangari Drive, Off Waiyaki Way, Opposite Safaricom House, Westlands.

My Daughter has been offered and accepted a place at Rhodes University Grahamstown. She rigorously and fastidiously researched your website for the required documents in order to apply for a student Visa.

Monday 4th December 2017 8hr taxi drive return ksh 8500

The clerk in the Visa centre checked her documents and sent her away saying that she needed her birth certificate and adoption papers ( she is 20 years old !!!) also that she needed a letter from me and a three month bank statement despite already submitting a certified bank statement agreeing to pay her fees etc.

Wednesday 6th December another 8hr taxi drive return ksh 8500

My daughter returns with all the required documents including a letter headed recommendation from our Headteacher.

She was then told that her medical cover certificate neeeded to be for 1year and dated from 1st january until december

The one we have is dated from February until December .... the university does not begin until the 12th of february and registration is on 4/5 th february . Why? would we buy medical cover dated from before she enters the country?!!!! Why? would the clark not simply process the application and allowed us to forward the amended certificate????? Why did the Clerk NOT
tell her about the medical certificate, when she checked the documents the FIRST time. Why? does she require an adoption certificate and birth certificate she is an adult???? Why is ALL this information NOT on your website ???What will the next excuse to refuse this application be I wonder ?????

I am Head of depatment of a very presigoius school it is my job to help recomend Univercities to my students . After the way my daughter has been treated, I will be very hesitant to recommend South African universities.

So I say again WHY ??? was my Daughter not told about the medical form when the documents were checked the FIRST time this is a huge waste of time money not to mention the stress you are causing people. My complaint is not about the extremly pedantic syatem you have but about the incompetance of your clerk ,my daughter should have been given the right information on Monday and we could have corrected the problem. Now more time will be wasted and we will incurr more costs!!

Your assistance will be much appreciated in this matter.

Family separation
Am a south African lady married to a Kenyan man. He has been in Kenya for over 2months now waiting for the outcome of his visa. We have 2 girls aged 1 and 3. I just wanted to state that the period the embassy takes to process the visas is too long and it depresses both my husband and I and the children. It's like we are being punished. Health wise am not well and I don't know who will look after the kids should something happen to me. Pls be a little faster especially if u have proof that a person has a family. Don't separate families for this long. I hope something changes

I really feel deprived of my world health right by south Africa embassy.
I've provided report from my neurologist assuring them I need further Check up. Dr from Durban wrote letter for invitation for treatment which I gave too.
I've given other required documents but all in vain.
Is someone health bona fide reason?

Uncertain BONAFIDE
Good morning,
Am an athlete and I got an opportunity to participate in a marathon in Johannesburg.
I submitted all the required documents for my visa application on 24th July, and on 1st August I was called for interview again.
On 4th I received my decision and It read" Rejected:Uncertain BONAFIDE visit to RSA.
I cant really understand why.
I've appealed in vain.
