Having visited the office of the agent handling visa application for your country and the offices on Lenana road I feel I should register my horror at the two places. This might not help my application but I strongly feel it may help. On 6th June I visited the office in parkland with all the requirement as per the website. However I was shocked when I got to the office since they asked for more documents which is in order but there is need to include all that is required in the web to avoid inconvenience. It was not possible to complete the visa application process since I had to travel to Ghana on a university mission. The persons at the counter assured me that if I applied for the visa on Friday 13th June I shall it by 23rdJune. I did visit the office again on 13th at 8.00am but I was this time informed that the visa will only be ready on 24th which meant I was to miss my engagement for GOHIRA which I was to represent to country. After consulting with the persons concerned, I was issued with a letter from the ministry of foreign affairs, on 18th June I took the letter personally to the Lenana road office. Once at the counter, the lady threw the letter back to me through the small widow and what shocked me most was the language she used even before I could say anything she told me they do not accept letters from the ministry, even if it is form the president, it cannot change the visa process. When I tried to explain that I had been informed the visa will be ready on 23rd but latter was told it is not possible due to a public holiday, she told me she does not care and my application came in on Tuesday. At that time I was in shock and as she continued I was already on my way out. When I got to the office I felt like I should get back to the South African affiliated companies and persons seeking help in the School . but the persons who treated me badly were Kenyans, as this will be directing mu anger to the wrong person. I am not sure how I can handle a patient from SA even in case of an accident even if I have taken an oath after this treatment. However God help me
It is not a must I go to south Africa, but I feel Kenya’s should be treated with dignity and not as trash.
Hope you take this positively and investigate since I have also had a lot of complains form other applicants as waited to be served, each has a story to tell.
I have applied and got visa to SA but never experience what I went through what I have put down is the sane part but the experience was horrible. I am no long keen about the visa after the experience

VISA APPLICATION
Im so surprised with the COLD "hospitality" at the south african embassy.

we have had an experience with two very cold ladies.
it has totally changed my perception of the south african community.

i had once visited SOUTHAFRICA way back in 2005 and todate i have awrist band that reminds me of the sweet memories back there and the nice hospitality.

but today, when i look at the wristband, im reminded of the two very cold ladies at the embassy
