After reading all these blogs, i am scared to even apply for a visa. Thought of travelling for good 15 days but now in 2 minds. Will rather change my destination.

Have you tried to contact VFS ?

I am sure they'll assist you. If not, call embassy directly. To your surprise, you might get your passport back with Visa :)

Hi i applied for my tourist visa on 18 march..i missed my flight on 04th april because of such lousy work ..i had already given my withdrawl letter but still not recvd my passport back..i mean passport is such an important document , what is the point of not dispatching the passport...i am pissed off...i a am sailor & now i was scgeduled to go on ship on 22nd april..can any one advice me how to get my passport back

Relative VISA
My step-son applied for VISA to accompany his biological mother and I as his father. The VISA is being rejected for minor reasons like 'Purpose' of travelling. He has since appealed and still waiting. Please allow his visa he has not seen his biological mother since he was 12 years old for almost 10 years.
