My daughter Andra Elizabeth Hoole,had her passport stolen on New Years Eve. She was due to fly from Denver back to South Africa today, 11 February 2017. She has been corresponding the LA Consulate; had completed the necessary paperwork, and bad been assured she would receive her temporary /emergency passport by Friday. The passport never arrived and she will have to miss her flight back to South Africa. Please can you confirm that her passport is on her way to her so she can make the necessary flight changes. She needs to get back to university.

Our Family are U.S. Citizen an doing volunteer work in South Africa and currently hold a 3 Year "Volunteer Visa" South Africa. Which is valid till April 2016.
Our Current question is.... what are our options... being that I am pregnant and will be having a child in August 4-6, 2015 this year and must register him, then get him a U.S. Passport which will only allow us to stay in South Africa for 90 Days max...
We would love to be able to stay till April 2016 if possible can we do this from south Africa? or must we leave the country of South Africa.. Please inform us asap... We need your direction on this matter as soon as you are able... thx...

i have gotten through to an actual person twice now this week--after calling dozens of times. first person had no information for me at all. second person told me Wednesday that they were working on MOnday's departures but it's thursday afternoon now and my paperwork has still not been sent out. i am calling again tomorrow (friday) and telling them i am driving to los angeles to pick up my papers. goodbye to the $23 i wasted on a return envelope! i can't wait until monday to see if im going to get my papers delivered and i know they won't be working on them after noon tomorrow (friday). very frustrating!
