High Commission of South Africa in London

Needing an urgent police clearance in order to start a job but no one answers the phones... emails just bounce back and not one bit of advice or assistance is given! Disgusted by the lack of service.

Website link doesnt work and they don't even answer the phone - it juts cuts off after a few ninutes. Hopeless.

Lost ID, passport renewal
Hey there, I’ve tried so hard to stay calm, I feel so lost I don’t even know what I’m going to do. I can’t find my ID book and now I need to renew my S.A passport. I have tried so hard to get some advice and I’ve got no where so far, I rang South Africa House last week, a not so happy sounding lady answered the phone and she didn’t know why I phoned them, she said “I don’t know anything about those things, call home affairs” and I can’t get the forms from website and I can’t just walk in as I need an appointment but I can’t get an appointment Because for some reason I don’t get that option to choose an appointment for ID replacement and passport renewal. You can’t call as no one picks up the phone and as for emails, emails??? I just feel lost all I need is someone from the South African embassy to tell me how to go about this problem. Please can someone advise me on this???? Thank you in advance

Need a response from the South African High Commission
We are both South African citizens who planned to get married next month in SA. Trouble is we need to know if our fingerprints are on the SA database and we need to know if our British divorces are registered with them. I have posted original documents to them two months ago and have heard nothing. Emails are ignored and they don't answer their phones. Where else can I go for help?

How do i go about it.
I have tried contacting and emailing but the phone rings and the email bounces back

What is the point nobody in the embassy are awake . Thank God I am not a South African

Tourist visa
Need an appointment to arrange visa.
No one bothers to answer the phone.
No one returns emails .
Have these South Africans working there not no integrity,they represent their country.
Maybe they should all return to South Africa and let others with some sense of South African pride take over.

Let’s do something about it
