dear ambassador-please help me to change my life
A few years Back I tried to go o South Africa for tourism. I am a resident of the US, I had a reasonably well paying job but the SA embassy folks but they presented their line of interrogation claiming that I wasn't a convincing tourist. Was it money? Could I show my employment letter with saary? That was when things degenerated. I never interacted with South Africans, never got past the rude Ethiopian employees at the reception, who insisted that I conduct business in Amharic because I presented an Ethiopian passport. I don't have a problem with speaking Amharic, but I don't like being commanded to speak it espeially at embassy where my preferred business language, English, is an official language.)
Fast forward to today, where my American employer wants to send me to Joburg office. The embassy, in true spirit of efficiency, doesn't pick up phones or respond to email. Joy, joy, joy ...

Blessings, SA Constitution and Gay & Lesbian issues..
I am an Ethiopian who grow to savour the lights and words of blessings and betrothal. I love South Africans except their excesses. They say your constitution allows similar sex sexual vulgarities. To me and according to the lights and words of blessings & betrothal it is an eye sore. Rehabilitate victims of apartheid and racism. Give them a chance to return to normal life and tell your citizens freedoms are rights governed by the laws of nature. Ban the a.m practices. Correct your Constitution if what they say about gay and lesbian issues is true. Then and only after then I may think to see South Africa and South Africans. That is my advise. Sincerely, I remain.
