Comments on this Consulate-General
Hello,
The government of Senegal should respond to the NYT article that is misleading and false.

Le número du consulate du Senegal a New York ne marche pas jai le número ca fait des annes pas de probleme mais tout de suite ca ne marche plus 917 4938950 c vraiment triste et sans information
I could forgive the phone not being picked up after what i witnessed.
After driving 10 hours to renew my passport i headed into the consulate to do just that and here i find myself standing across a glass from a man that swinging in a chair and on his cell phone 12 minutes after a guy in a suit comes out of an office in the back the man in the chair decided his phone break was over and could now help me naturally i was upset and chose to ask my question to the other guy
me...( sir i would like to renew my passport please)
him...( what documents do you have
me...( my old passport birth certificate and a certificate of nationality)
him...( you cant use that)
me...( what do i need)
him... ( gotta go to senegal)..
wow and they would not take one minute more to answer another question
had they answered the phone prior to my trip they would have saved me time money and 3 days off work
i love it

They should fired the whole staff and put some qualify people there .
This is a shame for a office that represent the Senegal.
I went there to ask about renewing my passport and the place was a mess and the staff unprofessional
