Great Service.
I had mine renewed in less than two hours.
It was unbelievable. I walked in around 9:25 AM and i was on my way back to DC about 90 min later(and connection or recommendations( LOL).

I called to see what was needed to renew Senegalese passport. I'm happy to report that the service received was great and in English. Just to share for those looking for the same information.... You will need your passport, national ID, birth certificate, and money order for the passport fee. They are open Monday-Friday and no appointment is needed. There go on 1st come, 1st served basis.
I called to get information regarding passports and was told that nobody there speaks English... At the Consulate in New York... in the United States.
Pls update your consulate address in NY
How can there be an Embassy of Senegal with no one there? My husbands mother is not well and he needs to renew his passport? What can he do when it seems no one is even living at the Embassy in New York?
I live in the US and I would like to get a Senegalese passport for the first time. What are the requirements to get the passport issued from the consulate/embassy in New York?
Cordially
I had an awesome customer experience with one the consulate staff members pertaining to Passport Renewal. The phone call was quickly answered and I was pleased with the information he provided. Kudos!!!!
I had a very good experience yesterday talking on the phone with Consulate staff regarding passport renewal. The phone was answered promptly and the staff I spoke with were knowledgeable and very helpful.
There are many Senegalese in the U.S., and the consulate staff is very busy. They deserve to be treated with respect and good manners.
I really thought the Senegalese consulate was here to help Senegalese people get through administrative roadblocks and problems just because they can't go back home and take care about those shenanigans themselves. Well I was wrong...
I had a consular officer doubt a document I submitted even after I had it translated by the Ministere des Affaires Etrangeres in Senegal. What a shame! These people don't know what they are doing
Omg senegalese are so unprofessional
