Umrah visas
Why is it that some travel agents could get umrah visa for ramadaan 2014 and some could not? I have lost a lot of money due to this visa incompetencies. Why does saudi airline refuse to refund our full money as it it their government who cannot provide us with visa?
Absolutely fed up. Same visa nonsense every year

Umra visas for ramadhaan
It is so sad to see so many people did not go for Umra in Ramadhaan 2014.We booked to leave on the 21st July 2014 and we a group of 13 people. Our airlines tickets are booked with Etihad and it is non-refundable and we dont have visas, our agents promised us we will go,as we went to book with him in the first week of April and nothing has been done and now our agent is asking us for another R70 000.00 to issue for 15th December, some agents say that we can't book on the 8th December 2014, that's a risk of getting visas,so u tell me where do we stand, need to urgently know if it is safe to book our tickets for the 8th December 2014. When will the saudi embassy be granting visas for Dec 2014 -devastated

Sunnah of Hudaybiyah
The pathetic Saudi system of obtaining an umrah visa and the greed of the agents in capatilizing on people's vulnerability has made many muslims relate to the incident of Hudaybiyah. Allah's messenger peace be upon him as well as his companions were too hindered from the Holy Land of Makkah. Allah grant us the perseverence they had! So... My fellow muslim brothers and sisters those of you who were disappointed... know who's "SUNNAH" you are following. To those who have made it difficult for muslims to perform their umrah... know who's "sunnah" you are following!

umrah visas
I concur with the sister above why is it so difficult when will Saudi Goverment realise that AGENTS only there to line their pockets as The Embassy keep on telling us that the problem is with the agents and if there is a current qouta on umrah visas then let the south african muslim community know this and how many and what would be the best practice to be eligible for a umrah visa

ramadhaan visas
What is happening with ramadhaan umrah visas?????
The agent informed us that visas were open and after booking all our air-tickets we now told that the embassy has shut down visa systems!!!!
What is happening??
We have spent a lot of money on tickets and cannot afford to lose it!
