"Noon Welfare Trust" intoduced ourself as an NGO with some aims object for the welfare of our nation. We want to bring some problems regarding Indian Hajis who want to proform Haj 2011 in
front of you.
You would be aware that the licenses of Private Tour Operators have been issued quite late this year due to various reasons, so the entire process has further been delayed. Due to stay by
different courts may delay the process for a week or even more.
Although, Saudi Embassy is now issuing visas to P.T.O.s and attesting the documents and P.T.O.’s have started going to Saudi Arabia to sign various ground-handling agreements that are necessary before stamping of visas. This entire process may take minimum two weeks. All the processes should be completed in September, and Hajis should started going for Haj in the Ist week of October 2011.
When the PTO's will come back with Tashreeh (permissions,agreements, etc.), the Saudi Embassy will have to stamp the 45000 Haj Visas in a very short time. As the process is already delayed, the
agents will have to rush to airlines to get seats for the Hajis.
Private Tour Operators have been informed by the Saudi Embassy Delhi
that all Haj visas will be accepted through Mr. R.K. Khosla only. Mr.
R.K. Khosla has neither any knowledge nor any experience of handling Haj visas, and the paucity of time will further complicate the process. Basically, RK Khosla are labour recruitment agent where time has no restriction, while Haj takes place at certain time and the Hajis will have to reach Saudi Arabia before Ist of November at any cost, otherwise, all the efforts and money will go in vain.
During previous years Saudi Embassy Delhi used to accept applications through one of the five associations recognized by your esteemed ministry, and for last two years, all P.T.O.s made their
own MOFA and submitted to the Bombay Association which took service
charge of Rs. 50/- only to get the visa processed from the Counceliate
of Saudi Arabia, Mumbai.
The P.T.O.’s and the association has competent and well-equipped
staff to handle these cases, and do visa stamping in time and well
in order. The Association charges Rs. 50/- per passport but Mr R.K.Khosla is charging Rs. 2450/- per passport and receiving money under table , without any receipt. In this manner, the Hajis have to bear an extra burden and also due to lack of Mr. Khosla’s experience , their Haj is at stake.
Noon Welfare Trust hereby request you to see the matter urgently.
Also on behalf of hajis we request you to kindly take up the
matter earliest so that Hajis would not suffer and could perform all
the rituals smoothly. because Haj comes once in an year
