i hope that mofa open so all the muslim ummah all over the world get their visas and they can go to saudi arabia!!! However, some people should understand that a lot of work is taking place during ramadhaan because of the extension of the haram sharif so i dunno why people are complaining. But they should give us visa anyway cause it cost a lot of money and we paid for it!!!!

No one can apply MOFA directly you have to go through Saudi Hajj Ministry Approved travel agent list available on Saudi Embassy web
Secondly Ministry Of Foreign Affairs not issuing MOFA in these days This is the main reason we all are struggling to obtain Umrah visa all agents are waiting for the response from Ministry
Go on youtube and type in submit moffa (visa) I think it might help the only way to obtain a visa number is by applying online geting the moffa number and submiting it.

Mofa is first & main thing to obtain Umrah Visa. All travel agents apply mofa for each Umrah traveller after payment MOFA(Ministry Of Foreign Affairs )issued a unique no.as soon as our travel agent receive this no.(Normally takes 24-48 hours) then he can submit our Umrah visa application along with passport to Embassy.
I rang up the embassy this morning and they are open but they need the MOFA number. Without the MOFA number they cant issue the visa. What is a MOFA ?
salam, UMRAH visas 2013, we have got our tickets for Saudi since February and our hotel and everything booked. the only thing we are waiting for is our visas! when our are they opening?

Just want to give an update to all who are waiting for their Umrah Visa that situation will be changed from Monday 8th Jul Insha Allah, I have been getting visa directly from embassy for last few years from this Saudi official i met on a flight, i went to see him this Monday with my passports and he refused to take my application and apologized that he can not do anything at this precise moment but if i call him on Monday 8th Jul then he will might ask me come in with my passports as situation is very bad and their system is closed until further notice from ministry of Hajj, I called him again yesterday to see if i can take my passports to him and was told again to call him on Monday and insha Allah he will help as Mofas will be issued again by then.
I have also spoken to people in Saudi Arabia and they said the same thing that wait till Monday so i hope that insha Allah everything will be fine, Saudis are not bothered at all about the problems we have to get visa in time as i believe most of the travelers have bought the air tickets which are non refundable, i shall update you all again once i hear something.
I was about to go on the 2nd july I have postponed to Saturday but still no visa.
Heard that very little chance of mofa to open
