Salaams..Muslims who paid for Umrah were not expecting to share in the Profit of Tour operators. They were not asked to share in the administrative management issues. They were not told that there is RISK of any type. As a matter of fact they were reminded that with others you will loose all your money.
Businessmen Hajji Omar and Hajji Sherrif of Trinidad must now do what they advised others when the shoe was on the other foot.
We are not prepared to stay silent since you all are business leaders, representing no Masjid or Religious Organization. All profits are for yourselves so all losses likewise must be borne by yourself like others did in the past
So what will happen to all the prospective pilgrims who have packages booked for the upcoming vacation? We are already 4 months into the Umrah season how is it taking so long to make adjustments to the system? Why not continue issuing the old visas until the new system is rolled out? People are being denied the opportunity to visit the holy lands because of silly beurocacy.
The Saudi Officials are changing the system from what existed last year. Caracas and Latin America is still on hold and we are awaiting word from our principals in the Kingdom.
This year would be a bit complicated in comparison with previous years. Another update would be forthcoming at the earliest convenience
So are you saying we have to approach other embassies to obtain Umrah visas? Because I know for sure non are being processed in Caracas. Can you say which embassy we have to send our passports to?
We have been advised that the Embassy will be closed until further notice. All visas would be accommodated in other embassies.
Our advice remains to travel only with license operators

I confess that we have colluded and profited from this Religious Pillar of Islam. Next year( 2017), 20 million pilgrims will be accommodated for Hajj. Prices will get very low and hotels will be competing for your business from this year 2016. We will make up by offering low prices of 35,000 TTD. Hotels are mostly completed for 2017 accommodations so the prices have reduced based on competition.

Can someone say why no Umrah visas have been issued thus far from the emabassy in Caracas? are there new regulations? if so when can we expect the visas to restart.
