establishing dual citizenship
I am interested in establishing dual citizenship: U.S.-Romania. My mother was born in Czernowitz. I have limited documentation including her U.S. naturalization paper indicating Romania as her birth country. What other documents are needed?

Power of Attorney revocation
Dear Madam/Sir,

My name is Florina Pop and I am working as a lawyer in Romania. One of my clients is living in US and decided to revoke a power of attorney given in Romania and authenticated by a notary public from Targu Jiu, Romania.

Based on the provisions of the Romanian Civil Code, article 2033: "(1) If the power of attorney was given in an authenticated form, in order to inform the third parties, the notary public that has to authenticate the revocation of such power of attorney is obliged to transmit as soon as possible the revocation with the National Notary Registry; (2) The notary public who has to authenticate such revocation has the obligation to check the National Notary Registry;(3) The obligations mentioned at paragraph (1) and(2) above are also applicable in case the revocation is authenticated by the Romanian diplomatic authorities or the Romanian consulates."

Buna ziua! Am si eu o nedumerire. Pasaportul romanesc imi expira anul acesta in arpilie. Momentan imi rezolv actele de rezidenta. Avem de gand in curand sa calatorim acasa in Romania cu sotul. Ce trebuie sa fac pentru o obtine o reinnoire a pasaportului?
