• Ensure that all operation of machinery and mechanical equipment is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the manufacturers' specifications
• Maintain all machinery and mechanical equipment on the site and camp in accordance with south oasis planned and Preventative Maintenance System and to manufacturers' specifications
• Carry out unscheduled repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment at south oasis site and camp
• Liaise with Planner to schedule major servicing and repairs of cranes, reach stackers, , Forklifts, Hi-Ab Trucks and Generators.
• Ensure the availability of adequate spare parts for mechanical equipment through the inventory system, both for routine maintenance and to cover unscheduled maintenance or replacements
• Ensure that all MSDS associated materials and equipment are properly inventoried and stored, as per HSE Procedures and Policies.
• Attend Daily Team Meetings to outline daily activities and request new spares through Basra office.
• Compile Monthly Shell report and submit along with monthly KPI’s and departmental Hazard Identification Cards.
