Note that all this process from the day you email Nd get appointment can take a week a little more and appointment date usually occurs after a week or two so no need to worry just have patience secondly the last date to email them and ask for appointments is twentieth May after that visa section will not allow appointments so if your documents are completed then no need to delay hurry up, persons who have residency just need two documents sef letter and valid PCC attested from forign office Pakistan for family reunion. About Other cases, and other requirements I have no info thanks
Embassy's visa section is working sister. Fedex is continually taking applications and giving appointments. You can email to this address

They will reply you to ask your details in a form you will fill it and send back to them they will forward it to embassy and if embassy does OK, you will again get an email from this address about your appointment date along with a call from them on your cell phone the number you would had given them in your details

Everyone is helping here and everything is almost explained here you can search on previous pages as well because repeated information is not easy to write again and again, VFS stopped appointment for one week Nd now again they are giving appointments but only through email
