Faster way to know your status instead of posting here
Agents never disclose this but force them to. All applications can be tracked online. The agent or lawyer has with them a twelve digit code Chave de Consulta. It is provided as Chave de acesso ao estado do proceso. Dont confuse this with your process number. This code can be entered by anyone at nacionalidade dot justica dot gov dot pt website.

If they dont give you this then you know you are dealing with a scamster and a thug.

Yes I will update when my pre case is done

another agent told my family friend almost the same news
their case was submitted in dec twenty nineteen

So I estimate one month is in twenty nineteen is taking three months to analyze

Idk i could be wrong but previously sephardic jews cases were taking very long like our goan cases but many youtubers have claimed that their sephardic jew case were completed in under two years when they submitted all their docs in lisbon

I have lost trust in my agent

Lynn, Your lawyer's information is dicy.

I just calculated my family member's pre process time,

Two year's, max three if all doc's in order.

Post time line is max upto two year's, chances it can be done in less then two year's.

Pre sixty one case
That means your cases will take two or three years more? So totally six to seven years? Is this what your lawyer has said?

Pre sixty one case
My lawyer is also saying the same thing. It's in twenty nineteen. Do you think the cases will move faster in twenty twenty and twenty one due to Corona as fewer cases were submitted and processed. This is what I heard from the lawyer. I hope so because mine is submitted I'm twenty twenty. Please let me know what other information you have in this matter

For BMC birth corrections there is no use of agents like the case for passports. You can do it yourself and it will save you money and sanity. Approach your BMC ward office as indicated on your birth certificate and speak to the medical officer there. Have some supporting documents so they take your request seriously. If you can convince the medical officer then they will request you to put in an application.
